Vanessa is a graduate of Duquesne University with a Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy. Over her 9 years with teli, Vanessa has helped numerous children and families with early childhood development delays, particularly in the area of oral motor development and feeding. Development of these skills enables a child to eat more age appropriate foods so that mealtime can be a positive family experience. Additional training in yoga for the special child helps her to integrate sensory processing with children to help them with their daily routine.
“Vanessa has been a huge help in correcting my child’s sensory issues as well as being supportive of our parenting needs.”
VANESSA’S EARLY INTERVENTION REWARD:
“I love working with families in the early stage of development. As Early Intervention Team members, we are often the first ones in the home to address parent’s concerns with their children.”
